| Dean has short brown hair that tends to stick up in many directions, which likely comes from the fact he never wastes any time on it, and has hazel eyes. He has a lot of muscle definition from spending almost his entire life hunting demons and other monsters. He could be considered short by some people, but that is usually just in contrast to his younger brother, seeing as Dean is a good six feet tall. His face is usually clean shaven, but sometimes he lets himself go and gets some stubble. He has no defining scars. His clothing tends to consist of jeans, boots, tshirts, and unbuttoned shirts on top of that. He has his favorite brown leather jacket on almost constantly unless he is in disguise as someone else. He has a wrist watch on typically, and a large silver washer ring on his right ring finger. He also has a small amulet on a black chord that he wears as a necklace. |
| Dean usually seems like a pretty laid back guy. He's pretty relaxed, tends to be life of the party, and is always ready to sit at the bar and enjoy a beer or two. It isn't impossible to get him pissed off enough to slug you, though, and has been known to get into a fight or two with complete strangers. He tends to come off as friendly though, especially to the ladies, and usually tries to talk his way out of a situation before he'll start letting his fists or his guns talk for him. Having been lugged around the country fighting all manner of creatures since he was five years old, Dean is very good at taking orders and doing what he's told, at least when his father is the one giving them. Dean is also exceptionally good at ignoring all of his own feelings on an issue to simply do what must be done. He has no sympathy for demons and the like, and wouldn't spare them even if he could. |
| Abilities/Weaponry Dean has excellent hand-to-hand combat skills, able to unarm people without any training quite easily. He has great aim with a gun, and seems to be extremely familiar with the weapons of his trade in general. He has an extensive knowledge of the supernatural and what it takes to kill them, which is only aided by the fact he is currently in possession of his father's journal on the matter. He also brought his beloved 1967 Chevy Impala with him to Allupato, shipped it special delivery and sat with it the entire boat ride over, and its trunk is filled to the brim with all manner of guns, stakes, crosses, and other weapons for dealing with the supernatural. It also has a fine selection of music on cassette tape. Weaknesses Dean is a human, and thus can be killed quite easily by any of the things he hunts. One wrong move on a hunt and he could very easily be dead. He doesn't have any special powers or anything other than his reflexes to save him in a pinch. You could steal his little brother and use him against Dean effectively, and Dean would likely do whatever you asked him to to ensure Sammy's safety. (Unless Sammy was a little bitch that day. Then he gets to fend for himself) You hurt his car, you hurt his soul. Likely that will just make him want to kill you, though. |
| Dean was born into a perfectly normal family with one mommy and one daddy and life was magical. A few years later he had a perfectly normal baby brother, and everything was sunshine and butterflies. Until one night his mother ended up on the ceiling of his baby brother's nursery room, stomach sliced open, and body errupting into flames, effectively taking down the house and his happy, normal childhood with it. Luckily his father got both he and Sam out of there, but from then on things changed. Their father took them around the country, never staying anywhere long, hunting for the thing that killed his wife, and Dean fell into this lifestyle quite easily. He took every order his father gave him without complaint, trained under him, and actually might have enjoyed the work, even if Sammy didn't. After Sam left to go to college, and likely to get as far away from Dean and their father as possible, Dean continued to travel with his father until one day he ditched him. After his father hadn't reported back for a few days, Dean did what he thought was right and went to grab Sam to help him find dad. Even though Sammy was reluctant he managed to drag him off for the weekend. They didn't find their father, but when he dropped Sammy off, it turned out that the same thing that killed their mother had killed his girlfriend. So Sammy came along with Dean to continue hunting and to find their father. Dean was actually kind of happy to have him back. Eventually they found him, and after a crazy series of events involving a one-shot-kill gun, they were reunited for a while. The Demon had caught up with them, too, though, and ended up hitting the Impala with a semi-truck, almost killing all three of them in the process. Dean was in a coma for a while, on the verge of death while he tried to fight off the Reaper who was after him, and he would had eventually lost if his father hadn't made a deal with the Demon to save him in exchange for his own life. Whispering some final words to Dean before he died, Dean woke up again in his body. His father now dead, and Dean busy dealing with the guilt of being the one who should have been dead, he's now extremely determined to kill the Demon. After his precious Impala was fixed, they left the States for Allupato, having a hefty section on it in their Dad's journal and hearing rumors that the Demon was also headed that way. |
